Neville "Roy" Singham, Chairman - ThoughtWorks, Inc.
With more than 20 years of technology and executive management experience, Roy is a globally-renowned information technology thought leader. He has authored technology-related columns in various industry publications, and is a frequent speaker at technology conferences worldwide.
Roy has provided management services to clients in the insurance, mortgage, energy, leasing, retail and software development industries. He has also directed multi-million dollar projects at clients including Caterpillar Financial Services, Dixons Group, Progressive Insurance and Transamerica. Roy's management style combines comprehensive study of emerging technologies, the ability to build highly motivated teams, strong personal determination and innovative flair.
Cyndi is responsible for global field operations, including product development, marketing, sales and strategy. Her global team of business and technical leaders spans China, India, US and UK.
Since joining ThoughtWorks in November 2002, Cyndi has served in a variety of general management and consultancy roles. Most recently, she was Managing Director of ThoughtWorks UK between July 2005 and December 2006. Before joining ThoughtWorks, Cyndi was a Senior Architect with Sun Microsystems in New York, Chicago and London. Having started her career with Andersen Consulting in Chicago, she has provided software development, consultancy and advisory to a number of Global 1000 IT organizations.
Sudhir Tiwari, Vice President of Operations
Sudhir has rich project management expertise in team and project design, software development, and client deployment. He has a strong background in financial software product development and systems integration with more than 14 years of experience. He also has wide experience in a variety of development methodologies and has played roles of a Technical Lead, Agile Coach among others.
Before joining ThoughtWorks, Sudhir worked at i-flex solutions (now Oracle Financial Services Software). During his 10 year stint there, Sudhir worked on multiple products. He played key roles in the conceptualization / development of multiple products and managing the development and implementations of the same. He was part of the initial teams which developed i-flex's flagship product FLEXCUBE. He also conceptualized and led the External Gateway for FLEXCUBE. Sudhir received his Bachelor of Technology degree, in the field of Chemical Engineering, from National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirapalli.
Chad is responsible for ensuring that ThoughtWorks Studios designs and delivers great products. As the Vice President of Product Development, he provides strategic vision and commercial direction for ThoughtWorks Studios.
Chad Wathington joined ThoughtWorks in 2004, after a stint in strategic consulting at the Boston Consulting Group. Before joining the product division, he led the internal change management effort for ThoughtWorks' US business. Chad also has experience as a Product Manager, Business Analyst, Quality Assurance Analyst, and Project Manager. He has worked in various software industry verticals including manufacturing, health care, financial services, and consumer services. Chad is a Caterpillar Corp. trained Six Sigma Black Belt. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Harvard University, Cambridge MA.
Adrian Jones, Vice President, Sales – Europe
Adrian is responsible for ensuring our European customers are successful with ThoughtWorks Studios as a partner. Having worked with customers in various industries, including financial services, telecommunications, technology, manufacturing, utilities and government, across the major European marketplaces, Adrian contributes 25 years of enterprise software sales experience to ThoughtWorks Studios.
Prior to ThoughtWorks, Adrian had a successful sales track record at companies like IBM, Oracle and specialist software vendors in database management (relational, object and embedded), as well as software development, from the early structured methodologies through to todays mature Agile approaches. Adrian has a Bachelors Degree in German and Economics. Outside of ThoughtWorks Adrian is Chairman of his local tennis club and passionately supports the growth of tennis in his local community. Loves music and plays the drums (he used to play in a heavy-metal band (but he normally keeps that a secret)).
John Guerriere, Vice President of Market Strategy
As one of the first 20 employees of ThoughtWorks almost 15 years ago, John has served as Vice President of Marketing for VA Software’s SourceForge Enterprise Edition and Vice President of Marketing for ThoughtWorks professional services organization. With a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics, John lives in South Carolina with his wife and 2 sons where he enjoys the realities of working with a globally distributed team that’s proof positive that it’s always “5 O’clock somewhere….”. In his spare time, John enjoys helping US Americans in South Carolina read maps.

Nagarjun "Nag" Kandukuru, Vice President of Marketing
A specialist in marketing early stage technology products, Nag is responsible for all messaging, branding and lead generation for ThoughtWorks Studios' suite of products. Having joined ThoughtWorks Studios before we had our first customer, he has helped us gain a customer base of hundreds of companies in 20+ countries.
Prior to ThoughtWorks, Nag helped find and nurture markets for a variety of technology, including email servers, handheld computers and CRM software. Most recently, he helped position Talisma Corporation as the worldwide leader in Customer Interaction Management (CIM) solutions. His 11-year high tech career also includes work on the acclaimed non-for-profit Simputer, a simple computer that aims to bridge the digital divide. Nag holds a B.Tech from NIT, Warangal, India and an MBA in Marketing Communications from Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad (MICA).
Adam Monago, Vice President of Client Services
Adam is responsible for ensuring our customers and partners have access to complete solutions ranging from products to professional services. He has been responsible for developing the vision and roadmap for Mingle since its launch and actively facilitates the growth of Mingle and the ThoughtWorks Studios Community.
Adam holds over 13 years experience in leading and coaching high performance software teams in a wide range of industries and problem domains. Prior to joining ThoughtWorks, Adam held positions with Computer Sciences Corporation, Citigroup and Prentice Hall. Adam holds a B.A. in Political Science from Rutgers University, and an M.S. in Information Systems from Stevens Institute of Technology. His main interests include playing music, yoga, and enjoying life in Northern California with his family.
Jez Humble, Jez Humble, Build and Release Principal
Jez has over ten years of professional experience in IT as a developer, systems administrator, trainer, consultant, manager, and speaker. He has worked with a variety of platforms and technologies, consulting for nonprofits, telecoms, financial services, and online retail companies. Since 2004 he has worked for ThoughtWorks and ThoughtWorks Studios in Beijing, Bangalore, London, and San Francisco.
Jez researches and consults on effective engineering practices in the field of agile delivery, with an emphasis on automating the building, testing and deployment of software, release management, and enabling collaboration between people involved in delivery. He also serves as product manager for Go. He is the co-author of Continuous Delivery (Addison Wesley, 2010). He holds a BA in Physics and Philosophy from Oxford University and an MMus in Ethnomusicology from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London.
David Rice, Vice President and Director of Engineering
Prior to being kicked into management, David helped found the ThoughtWorks Studios division of ThoughtWorks, by serving as technical lead and delivery manager of Mingle during its first 1.5 years.
David continues to be hands-on, working to build the next generation of our products. He has worked at ThoughtWorks for 13 years, leading teams in the development of software of all shapes and sizes. He has built systems using COBOL/CICS, Forte, Java/J2EE, .NET, and Rails. He was a major contributor to Martin Fowler's 2002 classic work, Patterns of Enterprise Application Architecture. David holds a degree in Latin and Ancient Greek from Brown University.
Jason Pfetcher, Associate General Counsel - ThoughtWorks
Jason Pfetcher, the Associate General Counsel at ThoughtWorks, is currently responsible for the legal aspects of the Studios division, as well as other operational and management areas. He brings 11 years of IT-related legal experience to the ThoughtWorks Studios team. Jason's primary legal expertise is in intellectual property, information technology and corporate law.
Jason has worked in ThoughtWorks offices in the US and the UK, and at various times taken legal responsibility for ThoughtWorks operations in India, China and Hong Kong. Prior to joining ThoughtWorks in 2000, he was a principal in the law firm of Goodwin & Pfetcher in Chicago, Illinois. He obtained his degree in Law from Loyola University, Chicago and his degrees in Economics and in Global Studies from Rockhurst University.
