License keys that have been issued to register a copy of Mingle for use must be loaded through the Register Mingle page. This can only be done by the Mingle Administrator. Mingle Administrators will be able to see a link to the Register Mingle page within their project workspace.
Unlicensed copies of Mingle will display a nag message for users indicating that their copy of the product has not been licensed. More information about the types of licenses available, including instructions on how to obtain a license are located here.
Once the Mingle Administrator has received an email containing a license key, they should cut and paste the key into the text box that is labeled ÒEnter New License:Ó. If a valid key is entered, the nag message will disappear; otherwise the user will be instructed that the key is not valid. The Register Mingle page will feature the expiration date for the license, the current active user count and the maximum active user count allowed for the license upon upload of a valid key.
License keys for Mingle are valid for a specific number of active user accounts. User account management is the responsibility of the Mingle Administrator. The Mingle Administrator can specify the number of active user accounts by using the ÒActivate/DeactivateÓ control within the ÒManage UsersÓ page.
