Managing saved views

Saved views let you and your team quickly access a specific set of cards based on card properties and/or tags. Saved views also remember the type of card view at the time they are saved, i.e. grid view or list view.

You may need to manage saved views when:

• you or your team are no longer using particular saved views, for example, if you'd created a saved view for a sprint/iteration that is now complete
• you want to turn a saved view into a tab
• you want to remove a tab (which was based on a saved view).

If a saved view doesn't already exist you can create it first. You can then create/remove a tab or delete a saved view from Project admin > Saved views.

Hint: You can update an existing saved view by creating a new saved view with the same name as the existing saved view.

How to delete a saved view

1. Sign in to Mingle and open the project with the saved views you want to delete (if you're not already working in the project).
   You don't need to sign in as a project administrator.
2. Click the Project admin tab.
   
   
   
   Mingle displays the Project settings page.
   (Note: if you are logged in as a project team member, Mingle displays the Team page.)
   
   
   
3. Click the Saved views link.
   Mingle displays the Saved views page.
   
   
   

Click the Delete link next to the saved view you want to delete.
Mingle removes this saved view.

How to create or remove a tab based on a saved view

1. Sign in to Mingle and open the project with the saved views you want to convert to tabs (if you're not already working in the project).
   You don't need to sign in as a project administrator.
2. Click the Project admin tab.
   
   
   
   Mingle displays the Project settings page.
   (Note: If you are logged in as a project team member, Mingle displays the Team page.)
3. Click the Saved views link.
   Mingle displays the Saved views page.
   
   
   
4. Click the Add tab or Remove tab link next to the saved view you want to add or remove.
   Mingle adds this saved view as a tab, or removes it as a tab.
