Card properties are values you can attach to cards to define, classify and group cards. Each card property includes one or more property values which define the card's status within the card property. For example, a card property of Priority may have values of Urgent, High, Medium and Low. You can assign colors for each of these card property values, so that Urgent is red, High is orange, Medium is yellow and Low is green, for example.
When you view cards in Mingle's Grid view, you can select a card property for which to display color. If you've already set up color for the property values, Mingle applies the color against cards as in the example below.
Mingle shows you each color's meaning in the Color legend at the bottom right of the page. Note that Mingle organizes cards in the Grid view according to the order in the Color legend. (Set up the order from Project admin tab > Card properties link.)
If you haven't yet assigned colors to property values, you can click on the square next to a property value name to select a color. If you want to change a color, you can click on a colored square next to a property value name.
Clicking a square displays the color selection palette. Click and drag the square until you find the color you want to apply.
You can also apply colors to property values by selecting the Project admin tab > Card properties link. See Creating card properties for details.
