What you can do on this page
The Edit profile page lets you view and change details of your Mingle sign-in profile, and also the setting of your Explore Mingle tab.
Edit your profile details
You can update the following information:
- Personal Icon
- Sign-in name
- Display name
- Email address
- Jabber user name
- Version control name
You can use +, ., -, @ and _ in your display name.
Non-essential profile details
It is not essential that you enter all profile details such as Email address, Jabber user name, Version control user name and User icon.
- Email address - if added you will be able to subscribe to feeds to specified email address.
- Jabber user name - if added Mingle displays your correct name on the Murmurs tab when you Murmur via a Jabber chat room.
- Version control user name - if added Mingle displays your correct name on the Source tab.
- User icon - if added your personal icon will appear next to your name in some places in Mingle. If no icon is supplied a default will be used.
Hide/Show Explore Mingle tab
You can choose to show or hide your Explore Mingle tab by using the Display "Explore Mingle" checkbox.
