Quick access to cards

Access to a card quickly and from anywhere in Mingle.

Quick card view via full text search

  • You can simply put a pound (#) followed by a card number you want to open in a text search area.

    1. You can put a following syntax in 'special header' wiki page. This will create a short cut to a card view. All you need to provide in the text area is the card number you want to open.

    2. Now you only need to a card number - without a pound (#) keyword.

    Quick card view via Firefox quick search

    1. To set up a quick card search, open Firefox and go to Mingle full text search box at the top right corner.
    2. Right-click inside the search input box and choose "Add a Keyword for this Search..."
      3. Add keyword to search
    3. Enter a title for the search (i.e. "Mingle Quick Search") and a keyword you'll use to execute it, such as "mingle"
      4. Save quick search
    4. Press 'Add' and your Mingle quick search is set up
    5. Now, from the Firefox address bar, you can type in "mingle" plus your search query such as "#100" to go directly to specific card in your project

    You can use the Firefox quick search to search any content in Mingle. Just replace #100 with your query.
