Editing and deleting wiki pages

All project members can edit or delete any wiki pages within the project. Whenever you edit a wiki page, Mingle keeps a full history of changes which you can see on the main History tab and also from within each wiki page's individual History component.

All editing features available on wiki pages are now available on cards too. So if you can enter text, charts or tables to a card follows the steps for the wiki page below after clicking the edit link on a card view.

Finding a wiki page

There are several ways within Mingle to find wiki pages to view, edit or delete, including:

from the Project admin tab Wiki pages link (full list of all wiki pages)

This page is also available by clicking on the Index of pages link in the Recently viewed pages control which is displayed when viewing any Wiki page.
from the recently viewed pages control which is displayed when viewing any Wiki page.
links from other wiki pages
links from within card descriptions
directly from a URL, e.g. http://mingle.yourcompany.com/your project/wiki/wiki_name, where your project is your project identifier and wiki_name is the name of the wiki page
from a Mingle search.

Editing a wiki page

Once you have the wiki page open, click on the Edit link to open the page for editing.

Update content as required. You can either type in the desired wiki markup, or use the wiki toolbar to insert markup which you then edit.

Previewing your changes

If you would like to see how your formatting will look before saving, click the Preview link.

Mingle displays how the wiki page will look in the preview tab. You can switch back to the Edit tab to continue editing or you can save your changes directly.

Saving your changes

Click the Save link to save your changes. You can do this from either the Edit or Preview tab.

Canceling your changes

Click the Cancel link to discard your changes. You can do this from either the Edit or Preview tab.

Deleting a wiki page

Once you have the wiki page open, click on the Delete link to delete the wiki page.
