Creating and formatting content

Introduction

With the introduction of a rich text "WYSIWYG" editor in Mingle 13.2, it is now much easier to create and format content in cards and pages. None of our previous wiki mark-up is required to create or format content. What you see is now what you get. However, we have maintained the ability to create links to other resources, including cards, attachments and pages in your and other Mingle projects. Learn more about linking.

After you create a card or page, you can open it to add and format content (including graphs, charts and tables, which you can create using Mingle macros) by clicking on the "Edit" button.

To save or cancel your changes, respectively click the Save or Cancel button. (There is no preview button since Mingle has a WYSIWYG editor.)

  • All project team members (with full user permissions) can edit or format any card or page in their project.
  • Mingle will always return the latest version of the card or page content when you open to edit. Whenever you edit a card or page, Mingle keeps a full history of changes, which you can see on the main History tab and also from within each card's and page's individual history component. Learn more about card versions and history as well as page versions and history.
