Inline Concept

Inline Concept is the feature that allows you to replace a concept used in a scenario with its underlying steps.

How to Inline a concept?

To inline the concept step transfer "500" from "SCB007" "savings" account to "CIT090" in the scenario, follow the steps below. Right click menu for Extracting Concept

  1. Place the cursor on the usage of a concept.
  2. Right click on the concept step.
  3. Choose Inline Concept option.

You now see the concept step replaced with the underlying steps from the concept.

Parameters are unaffected on inlining a concept

Inline the last usage of a concept

When ever you inline the last usage of the concept step, TWIST indicates that the concept will be unused if the current usage is inlined. It asks the you to confirm the deletion of the concept file.

The checkbox is used to confirm deletion the concept file. Click OK to Inline the step and CANCEL to cancel the action
